Logging with horses

Logging with horses is a skill which is still with us. Contrary to received wisdom, it has a role to play in today's forestry economy and isn't something relegated to the folklore of times past.

Not only is logging with horses possible over difficult terrain (steep slopes, gardens, etc.) but furthermore, it doesn't crush the ground, it's kind to tree roots and doesn't cause major damage!
